Blackened Heart

She looks up at him as her hands warped around his shoulders and she rests her head on his chest. "Thank you...Lord Marucus, for protecting me, I owe you my life." She curled up into him more, she didn't want to see anyone else but him.

He stared into her eyes, holding her close to him. "No... my lady... you don't owe me anything... I protect you because I want to see your smile again, I want to see you happy again... I just want to see you again. I don't want anything in return."

She looks back into his eyes as she blushes slightly. "M-Mi`lord...Your words means so much..." She holds him tighter as she then slides her hand down as it bushes past his heart up to his shoulder again.

He blushes, feeling her hand move across his chest. "Ah..." He looks deep into her eyes, then slowly runs his hand across her's.

She blushes as she shivers as he does it to her, she blushes as she looks deeply into his eyes, she didn't know what to say, her lips quivered, she wanted to say something, but couldn't. She could only look him in the eyes.

He slowly leaned forward, blushing as he did. He wanted to kiss her so badly...

She pants lightly as she leans forward as well, it was happening again, she was hoping it wouldn't get ruined for the 3rd time, they were so close, how could anything ruin this? She didn't want to jinx it, she leaned up as her lips were close to touching his.

He closed his eyes, leaning into her embrace, tilting his head. Softly, slowly, gently, he pressed his lips to her's, his cloak covering her and him almost completely. Completely taken away from the outside world, as they finally shared thier first kiss.

The kiss was something more then just a kiss, it was their first, she at a time wanted her first kiss to be with Zander, but he was a ladies man, he probably had his first kiss long time ago way before her, but Marucus. His lips were different they were...so sure. She let her lips rest on his, her heart was racing as she kissed him she moved closer to him as he can feel her heart pounding on his chest.

Marucus had never imagined a kiss could be so pure, so innocent. He could feel her heart racing, beating hard against his chest, knowing she could probably feel his own doing the same. It was more than he had expected. This was more than just affection for her... this was love.

He softly pressed his lips a bit more on her's, gently stroking her cheek as he did.

She blushed as she had nuzzled his hand on her cheek once again as she leans up to kiss him more, her lips quivered on his as she can also feel his heart beating on her chest as hers was on his. She didn't want it to stop, she wanted that moment to last forever. It felt like everything around them had just stopped as it was only them, lost in their own worlds that have now collided into one.

He felt her lean up on him, blushing as he kisses her deeper still. He held her around her waist, holding her close to him. He ouldn't explain the feeling he was getting, but didn't want to think about it or he might lose it. He wanted this moment to be special...

He... was the one making her happy...

She blushed even deeper as she slowly breaks the kiss before she passed out from excitement, she then leaned her forehead onto his as he pants lightly. She stares into his eyes as she pants, she couldn't leave his gaze for a second.

He blushes, looking into her eyes, amazed at how excited she was. All this... over him? He held her close, softly nuzzling his nose on her's, regaining his composure.

She blushes more as she looks away to hide how red she was, she panted still, she had never been so close to a man before...not like this anyway. He was so...different from the rest, he was even different from Zander...Saying a lot...Lady Ivy was right, she did let one get away, but she couldn't let this one go.

She was tired of feeling so lonely, tired of being hurt, tired of feeling like shes useless, and most of all tired of having her kindness taken for granted.

He looked at her, seeing how red she was. Was she nervous? He slowly stroked her cheek, wanting her to get comfortable with him. He didn't want to frighten her away.

She had never looked more beautiful than when she was in his arms.

She felt the touch of his hand on her cheek, it was so warm and inviting, she couldn't help but to tun back and look at him. She smiled softly at him, she then cuddled into him more as she was nuzzled into his arms not wanting him to let go of her for a second, she didn't want his arms to loosen their hold on her.

He wrapped his arms about her tightly, lowering his head to meet her's, resting his forhead on her's, sitting, watching, waiting. Everything he cherished. Every feel, and every sight.

"Lady Melina..." He whispered, closing his eyes, lost in her embrace. He listened to the sound of her breaths. It was peaceful.

She closed her eyes as their foreheads touched his soft voice was so calming, and so inviting. "Yes Mi`lord?" She whispered back...She felt like everything around them had just melted.

"Nothing." He breathed, not wanting to ruin the moment by his words. He softly stroked her cheek, over and over, forgetting completely about the bloody mess all around them. It was as if sitting with her now, was not the same man who had slaughtered the ones posing a threat to her moments ago.

She looked back into his eyes as she wanted to say what she felt, but she kept stumbling. "I-I-I...I..I.."

He blushed, looking deeply into her eyes. "Wh-What is it...?"

She looked deeply into her eyes, her lips quivered as she froze, she couldn't get the words out, she felt like she needed a bit of a push to say it, she was never good with words. She wanted to tell him so badly though.

He looked closer, pulling her in slightly. "You can tell me..."

She blushes more. "I-I...can't say it..." She blushes as she looks away.
