Blackened Heart

She looks down, as she also starts to slide down on the floor she starts to burst back into tears and screaming as loud as she could out of pain as she repeats herself. "No no no no no no no no no no!! Ahhhhahahahaaaaaa!!" She cries harder then she did earlier, she banged her fists to the floor over and over and over again until they started to bleed, she was having an emotion breakdown.

Zander knelt down, hold her hands away from the floor, stopping her from hurting herself. "Stop, lady Melina, please, stop!"

She struggled and screamed as she tired to pull her arms away from him harshly as he screamed. "Leeeeet GO!!!"
She screamed in agony and pain, as she was helpless on what to do. She eyes were almost blood shot red.

Now knowing what else to do, he wrapped his arms around the struggling woman, embracing her, holding her tight, refusing to let go.

She struggled more as he embraced her as she was flailing her arms and twisting and turning her body as she was having a break down in his arms, she cried so much and screaming in his ear, sooner or later she stopped struggling and buried her face in his shoulder crying. She felt so helpless and useless, she felt even worse then what she had felt earlier. "Whhhhy!!! Ahahaaaaa Why, Why them!!! Why couldn't it been me!!! Whyyy!!!!"

He held her close, silent, not thinking he had a right to say anything. He just wished he could do soemthing to help her, but knew there was absolutely nothing he could do.

She cried in his arms for an hour until she had stopped, she let him go as she was still sniffling, she wiped off the tears that were still on her face as she looked down, as she just couldn't look him in the eyes. "P-Please *Sniff* Tell me...How did they Die?...and where can I find them? I would like to bury the bodies...next to my mother's grave..." She says in a shaky voice. She was scared to know how they died, but she had to know how they died.

"They... died at the hands of druids... I'm sorry you had to hear this, but it is true... I wish I could have stopped them but I made it too late." He looked at her, whishing, hoping, praying, there was something, anything he could do to help. "I'll bring thier bodies to you." He didn't want her to go by herself... to see where they lied... or what had happened to them.

She snuffled more as she nodded. "T-Thank you...You are, most kind..." Thats all she could really get out of her mouth with out studering each word with sobs.

He held her tight. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

She held her head as she tried to calm down, she shook her head as her lips quiver. "N-No...it's not your fault, don't apologize..."

He held her closer. "If only I'd been a little faster... I could've... I could've saved them..."

She shakes her head as she holds him closer as well. "It's ok...It's ok...I-It's...O-Ok...*sniff sniff*"

Zander decided to move as soon as he could. He went back to the village, taking the bodies of Ferro and Melina's father back to her, after he had cleaned them up the best he could. He could not have in thier original state, or it would have been to hard for her to take.

After digging graves, they held a short ceremony, and buried them. Zander looked at her. "Lady Melina... what are you going to do now...?"

She looks down at the graves as she had set 3 Iris flowers on each grave. "I'm not sure...Today...we were all suppose to see her...today...It's the first day of spring...who would have thought they would have all past on, on the same day..." She looks down as she kisses each grave. "They would not want me to be like this...I'm sure, they would want me to be strong...for all of them...It's just...so hard...to be ..." She was about to tear up again but she wiped them away with her arm. "I guess...I can do what I always wanted to do...travel to see the world I have lived here my entire life and had only had gone to far as the town, and the palace gates as my stopping point. I don't want to have a stopping point anymore...I want to...Be free..." She looks up at the sky as bird fly over their head, thats what my mother said as well...she said that when she dies, she wanted to come back as a bird...they can go where ever they want, no one can tell them where they can and can't go, or if they are flying to high or to low. There are the wind itself with a physical form..."

He nods, looking at her. "An admirable dream... they all would be happy for you, I think. Will you go alone, Lady Melina?"

I'm not sure, I guess I have no choice...You an Lady Ivy have more important things on your plate, and...Lasche is gone...only thing left to do is to take one of my steeds and..." She had then thought... "Sire Zander, if it's not to much to ask, can you please...take care of 2 of my horse, you can keep any two you like, and give the other one to Lady Ivy, I'm sure...I hope she will not turn them away, they are fast." She takes his hand as she leads him to the stables and she opens the barn doors, as he sees 3 horses. "This is Ebony, he is th oldest and the most kindest to strangers, and also, he is very fast, I think he will be very fitting for you, then over here is the pain Minzy, she is sweet, but also she is the youngest, so she spooks real easily, but I think Lady Ivy will like her...last but not least Cobalt...he's been in our family for a long time, he's almost like a family heir lume I wouldn't feel right giving him up, so I will take him along with me." She smiles.

Zander looked at her. "Lady Melina... I could not accept such a gift..."

She looks at him. "Please Sire Zander...I cannot handle taking 3 horses along with me, and if I leave them here they will starve and die. Please...for me?..."

He nods. "I will take your horse... but I am coming with you."

She looks at him and tilts her head. "But what about Lady Ivy? She will wonder where you are and miss you dearly."

"She will understand. I was adventuring long before I met her." He didn't honestly know how Ivy would feel about him if he continued travelling, but that was what he planned to do, whether she liked it or not.

"Well...We can at least deliver Minzy to her, before we go..."

He nodded. "Yes." He hopped up onto his horse, waiting for her to mount.

She had also hopped onto Cobalt as she grabbed hold of the reigns and then she opens up Minzy's stall as she grabs her reigns as well so she can take her to the palace. Then they all walk out of the stables as she nods to Zander." Lets head out..." She starts to ride on into the forest.
