Blackened Heart

She looks at him as she shakes her head. "What are you talking about I am not leaving."

He turned from her, sheathing his sword. "It doesn't matter, beause despite what you do, I am." He began walking away from her.

She runs to him and clings to him. "Stop please! I want to help you, but I can't if you don't tell me why your acting like this!"

He looked up as she clung to him. "You would not understand." She would feel mana coming from Zander, and all of the leaves around them began to swirl into a small twister, circling around them, carried on the wind.

"Tell Ivy I'm sorry."

Her eyes widen as she feels his mana, she slowly lets go. "Milord...please...don't go..."

"It is out of my hands..."

Without another word Zander began to deteriorate into what seemed to be the leaves themselves. In an instant, he was gone, nothing but the winds soft whisper remaining.

All she could do was looks as she was standing out in the open as it begins to rain down.

Marucus runs out to her, calling for her. "Melina! What are you doing out here?!"

She looked out in the direction where Zander had gone but she heres Marucus call out to her as she turns and looks at him as she was soaked in rain.

He ran to her, wrapping her in his cloak, sheilding her fromf the rain. "Melina?"

She leans on him as her head rests on his chest as her arms are to her side as her hair gets wet. "Lets...go back."

Marucus looked at her, tilting his head. Something was wrong, but he didn't want to try to pull anything out of her. She would tell him if she wanted him to know. He nodded, holding her closer as they walked back to the inn.

She walked back with him as she then stopped in the middle of the hallway thinking if she should go back in his or go in hers

Marucus stoped, looking back at her. "Lady Melina, what is wrong?"

She gasped a bit coming to her senses again as she looks at him. 'Oh...it's nothing." She looked at him as she had might as well went back into his room, after all her stuff was in there, and after Zander had just left without reason. She felt a wave of loneliness, she wanted to be with the person that knew, but also hoped that wouldn't leave her side. She had then walked to the direction of his door as she clings onto his arm not wanting to let go.

Marucus gasped slightly. She clung to his arm, yet would not say more than a few words to him. What was bothering her so much, and why would she not tell him what was going on? Was it him? No, of course not, the way she stayed so close it was if he were the only one to comfort her.

Sensing her distress, he wraped an arm around her, holding her close.

She holds him tighter as he holds her close, she wanted to go in the room not wanting to see anyone but him, she wanted to remember, that he was still with her, why was she so worried about Zander, he didn't even consider Lady Ivy or the others feelings on how he just left, without even a goodbye or a reason...why was this bothering her so much, why was she so caring of others? Everything was going so fast, she soon got dizzy and started to lean on him as she holds her forehead, was she starting to fall ill herself?

Marucus looked at her, blinking. She was... holding her head? He tilted her head up. "Melina? Are you sick?" He looked into her eyes, checking her.

Her eyes were narrow as he looked into them as she seemed to pant a bit she seem to have a fever, was it the rain that made her catch a fever? Why was she feeling like this? She was fine a moment ago...or was she? Whats happening , she was a bit scared, she had a rush of thoughts, her body tempeture was high, and she was very dizzy, she tried to speak but she full blacked out as she had then fully leaned on him.

Marucus cursed, picking her up, running her into his bedroom, laying her on the bed. Why the hell didn't she say she was sick?! He cursed again, running to go find a doctor.

She panted more as she had then tossed and turned in the bed, what was going on? She couldn't figure it out, why was she sick ,and also at the same time having all these thoughts going around in her head, she wanted to snap out of it but she couldn't, she couldn't even see what or who was in front of her, she felt a wave of loneliness and paranoia, she was alone again, she called Marucus hoping he would hear here, she didn't want him to leave her alone. Why did she feel so selfish? Whatever she was feeling ,she didn't care, she just wanted him to be there.

She felt his large gentle hands envelope her own, and his voice whispering to her. She couldn't tell what was being said, but it was soft, calm, comforting. He would not leave her bedside until she woke, even after the doctor told him he had to. Whatever sickness she had, he would gladly take it too if it meant she would be ok.

After ten mins later, the doctor looked at him as he tells him. "She will be alright, it seems that she has had a bit of a a panic attack, those usually happen under loads of stress, just let her rest for a while and have her stay calm, don't have her over work herself. Something must have been bothering her, she will be ok though just keep her away from anything that will cause her to stress and make sure you have dim lighting around for a while. " He gets up and nods to Marucus as he then walks out the door as Melina had slowly started to open her eyes as she feels his hands over hers. "M-Marucus...I..I'm so sorry for all this..."

Marucus held her hands a bit more firmly. "No, this wasn't your fault, don't say sorry."

She looks at him. "But...I made you worry for nothing..."
