Blackened Heart

Marucus stroked her brow. "That is nonsense, it was not your fault, and I would be fool to blame you for something like that."

She looks at him as she then tries to sits up a bit. "Mi`lord..."

He softly lays her back down. "No sitting up, you need your rest." His eyes resonated with concern.

She looks at him as she slightly pulls him a bit to her. "Please, rest with me...?"

Marucus looked at her for a moment, then nodded, smiling slightly. "Of course." He said softly. He got into bed, facing her, holding his head to her brow, making sure she was not too warm.

She had seemed to be cooling down as he touched her brow, she then closed her eyes and leaned more to him as there lips were inches away from each other as she wanted to be as close to him as she could. She slowly felt up his chest as she lightly nuzzles her nose on his.

He closed his eyes, nuzzling her's back, softly kissing her lips as he tilted his head. It wasn't him, whatever bothered her, she was still as affectionate as ever. He was glad he still had that.

She blushes but kisses hin a bit deeper, she didn't know why but...she was tired of being so timid, so shy of everything...she wanted to try something...she never has tried before...but, was she ready? I mean he was...very large and she was so petite. Was she really going to make a move, she slowly feels up his chest more as she presses agaisnt it more seeing his reactions as they kiss.

Marucus blushes slightly, not expecting that. He opened his eyes slightly, seeing if she even noticed what she was doing. Was she delerious from the breakdown, or was she simply being just more affectionate than usual? He gasped slightly, feeling her pressing her hands on his chest. This was new.

She was scared to open her eyes to see his reaction, but can tell that he was a bit cough off guard...she pressed her lips to his more as she feels up his chest as she pushes herself on him a bit. Was she in so much need for affection, what was she doing? What if this only pushes him away then him following along with it. She continued to do so.

He feels her push herself on him, causing him to blush more. Was she... making a move on him? Something wasn't right... or he thought so... maybe... or was he just trying to make it ok, because he secretely wanted this? Either way, he could feel himself accepting her into his arms, not able to stop himself.

She hasn't been rejected so far, so she guesses that this was a good sign, she leans on him a bit more to the point where she was on top of him as she was laying on him and she feels on his chest more pressing her hands on his chest more and kisses him deeper, she wanted to see how he would react before she did anything else?

It was all so fast, how was he supposed to react? He opened his eyes as she kissed hims so deeply. She had gotten on top of him, causeing him to gasp a little more. She was being so forward... was... this normal? Somehow he didn't think so, but he couldn't be sure. How far was she going to go?

She blushes as she was scared to try anything else, she could tell by his gasps that he was confused, she then broke the kiss and looked into his eyes, she was looking a bit better, but at the same time he saw loneliness in her eyes her lips whimpered a bit, as if she looked as if she was going to cry, why was she so lonely? She was by his side, what she hoping for him to embrass her back and do the same. What has gotten into her?

Marucus looked at her, worried. Why did she look so disheartened? He sat up, holding her. "Melina... tell me what is going on..." He sounded so worried, so concerned.

She looked down as she couldn't look into his eyes...why? She nuzzled into him close. "Mi`lord...I tired...I really tried...but...he left...he left us...I tired to stop him, and now...when Lady Ivy goes back into her room, no one will be there to comfort her, and she will be lonely, and I wanted him..to get back to bed... he wasn't well and...I feel so useless that I couldn't stop him." She curls up into herself in his arms as she starts to sob.

Marucus tilts his head. "What are you talking about, who left?"

She kept herself curled up as she says to him. "Lord Zander...he's gone...I don't understand why did he leave, does he not want to be around us anymore?"

Marucus shook his head. "I don't know... what did he say to you?"

She looks down..."He gave me no reason...all he said was let me go, and this doesn't concern you...I don't understand, then he held his blade to me...I just...don't understand..." She holds her head again in slight pain.

Marucus looked down. "I don't understand... what is he thinking..." He clenched his fists. "Bastard better not have hurt you..."

She shakes her head, not answering.

Marucus looked at her. "Don't worry about him..."

She looks up at him "It's hard for me not to worry about him, he's ill, he's gone, and he has been acting so strange...I want to help but I am so useless..." She looks down.

Marucus shook his head. "No... none of us were able to help him, you cannot put everything on yourself."
